Regulation on hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment

This regulation is the national interpretation that the Netherlands has given to the hazardous substances in EEE directive from the European Union. The regulation aims to limit the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The regulations mentioned contribute to the protection of public health and the environment. In addition, compliance with the regulations results in responsible recovery and disposal of waste equipment.
