Wijziging van Regeling AEEA
In 2020 is de Regeling AEEA (afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur) gewijzigd. De regeling is uitgebreid en geldt nu voor zowel AEEA afkomstig van particuliere huishoudens als voor AEEA van andere gebruikers dan particuliere huishoudens.
Daarnaast staat in deze wijziging dat ongescheiden AEEA, gemengd met andere afvalstoffen zoals met name schroot en bouw- en sloopafval, ook altijd passend moet worden verwerkt.
Ook is de WEEELabex aanduiding uit de oorspronkelijke regeling vervangen door de Cenelec Standard. Via een conformiteitsverklaring kunnen partijen aantonen dat zij bij het verwerken van AEEA de Cenelec Standard aanhouden.
