Flowchart of WEEE and Cenelec

The flowchart is a tool to determine whether an action on a (waste) electrical or electronic equipment (WEEE) requires appropriate processing and a Cenelec declaration of conformity (formerly WEEELABEX certificate).

This tool therefore asks three relevant questions:

  • Can the object to be treated be considered WEEE (WEEE also applies when it concerns parts)?
  • Can the actions be regarded as processing actions (or is there repair or refurbishment)?
  • Are the processing operations certifiable?

With the help of the flowchart, you can find answers to these questions and thus process (A)EEA correctly.
