Hoe ‘circulair’ zijn Nederlandse consumenten?
Het streven van de Nederlandse overheid naar een volledig circulaire economie in 2050 vergt radicaal minder en efficiënter gebruik van grondstoffen. Daarvoor zijn niet alleen duurzame productiemethoden noodzakelijk, maar is het ook van belang dat Nederlanders duurzamer gaan consumeren. In dit rapport wordt een onderzoek beschreven naar gedrag, bereidheid en de potentiële milieuwinst van circulair consumeren.
Op verschillende punten blijken Nederlanders beduidend meer bereid tot circulaire consumptie dan wat ze nu doen, als het niet duurder of lastiger is. Daarnaast is blijkt bereidheid tot reparatie groot, terwijl weinig mensen het nu nog doen. Dat biedt aanknopingspunten voor beleid.
