Universally binding declaration for waste management fee for portable batteries 2018

The waste management contribution agreement forms the financial basis for the implementation of the obligations of the business community and serves to finance a collection and processing system for portable batteries. The declaration of the waste management contribution agreement is necessary to ensure that producers and importers, who are not voluntarily part of this agreement, are also obliged to pay the waste management contribution.

There is now a new universally binding declaration for the period from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2028.
